Back at IT!

Hey everyone! I have been M.I.A for a long time and I have missed blogging so much and lost touch with it. I have been in between jobs here in West Virginia trying to find the right career path for me. Along my little journey I have realized that you don't land your dream job at 25 years old. It takes time, hard work and dedication to get to that point. Also who would want their career to peak at 25? not this girl. With that being said I am applying to job after job and going on interviews because I don't want to settle I do want to land the job that will be the beginning of my dream job and a career in merchandising/buying. From my experience going on countless interviews and looking through 100's of job postings I found that every employer is looking for the same thing and that is reliable candidates that are honest and on time.

1.Just remember when you go on an interview no matter what job always answer the questions as honest as possible.
2.Ask them questions about the position and what it all intel's.
3.Take time to think about your response
4.Shake their hand
5.Make eye contact
6.Thank them for their time

It doesn't guarantee you'll get the position, but it will sure make them aware how interested you are in the position and it will leave a lasting impression!
